How we work

Ingeus UK - advisor and jobseeker at workOur international operations have evolved through collaborating with governments at both a national and regional level. Working in partnership with public employment services, we help to design innovative solutions to address specific labour market issues. Our experience ensures solutions are based on international best practice and meet the needs of key groups of unemployed people.

We believe that work is the best option for everyone who can work. There is no set formula for what we do because no two people are the same. Every person who walks through our doors is in a unique situation and will need to follow their unique route to a better future through lasting employment. Advisors see their clients on a frequent basis and use their initiative and creative intelligence to find tailored solutions to each individual’s situation.

We help to reduce unemployment by overcoming barriers to employment and assisting people to achieve their potential. Our focus is on supporting individuals who are often the hardest to help and who have multiple, persistent barriers to employment. Ingeus goes beyond training to provide a flexible, individualised, intensive 'case management' approach designed to help empower unemployed people and equip them with the work skills needed to secure employment and succeed in the modern workplace.

This service can often complement the provision of more traditional training programmes. Unemployed groups we currently serve include the long-term unemployed (736kb pdf), single parents (704kb pdf), unemployed young people (1.6mb pdf), recent graduates (1.5mb pdf) and people on long-term health-related benefits (504kb pdf).

Tailoring our service to each individual, our integrated approach looks to how we can help people with any selection of the following:

  • Job search skills
  • Access to job search resources
  • Skills development
  • Condition management – advice and support for managing health-related conditions in work
  • Dealing with homelessness
  • Motivation and confidence building
  • Childcare issues
  • In-work financial planning
  • Employer liaison and in-work support

A key element of Ingeus’ character is delivering performance with integrity. We are an ethical group of companies which aims to achieve the highest possible standards of service delivery.
