Partnering to meet social and policy objectives Ingeus in Warsaw and Poznan

Poland

Ingeus in Poland has been established to explore and action opportunities to work with the government to assist them in achieving their policy objectives of growing sustainable and socially inclusive labour markets, and to work with employers to provide advice and strategies for career management, progression, recruitment and integration.

In 2011, we secured our first contract in Poland - to assist unemployed lone parents from Poznan in the Wielkopolskie region. Funded by the European Social Fund, and established in partnership with the Poznan Public Employment Agency, the contract takes the form of a pilot programme to demonstrate the effectiveness of Ingeus’ methods with this client group.

Through this pilot, we will work with key stakeholders to co-create innovative solutions that meet local needs, and work in close partnership with existing services to implement those solutions. The programme will commence in June 2011.

Ingeus’ experience in establishing successful pilot programmes is proven. The implementation of pilot programmes enables governments to test the effectiveness of our solution and share knowledge, with a view to developing policies that improve services for all. We have done this successfully in France, where our pilot programmes contributed to the transformation of the way services are delivered and resulted in a revised national approach to assisting people back to work.

After 20 years of economic and structural change in Poland, we believe we can play a role in supporting further reform by working with the government, its employment agencies and employers to enable more people to achieve independence and social inclusion through work.

Through this pilot, we will work with key stakeholders to co-create innovative solutions that meet local needs.”
