

In August 2008, the Swedish public employment service, Arbetsförmedlingen released an invitation to tender for employment services for newly arrived immigrants.
Ingeus tendered for, and was successful in winning contracts in Stockholm and the surrounding areas of Huddinge, Södertälje and Solna. Services commenced in February 2009, and Ingeus will assist between 1,000 and 1,500 people to integrate with their communities through finding suitable, lasting employment.
Ingeus will be working closely with each client for up to six months, helping them to address challenges such as language difficulties, recognition of transferable skills and identifying appropriate training.
Our initial contract is for a 19 month period, with the potential for a two year extension.
